Beef is priced at $7/lb plus processing and pork is priced at $8/lb plus processing- based on hung weight. Processing fees are roughly $1/lb and the deposit goes towards these fees. Once we have the final hung weight on your cow or hog, we will deduct the initial deposit from the final price.

Averages are tricky due to the variance in how much our animals weigh, so these are all very loose averages.

You can typically expect ~60% of the live weight of an cow to be the hang weight. The average hang weight of our whole cows are between 650-800lbs.

Alternatively, you can expect ~70% of the live weight of a hog to be the hang weight. The average hang weight for our hogs is 250-300lbs.

You can expect to get ~70% of the hang weight back upon picking up your meat. All meat will come pre-packaged with lbs of each pack labeled on the package as well as its label.

Once you have filled out an order form and/or paid your deposit, you will get an call/email from our farm manager with cut sheets and further instructions.

Cut sheets are what we give our processor to let them know what type of cuts you want from where on the animal, how thick you want your steaks (beef), or what flavors/sausage you want your ground to be (pork).

To pick up your meat, we will call you to let you know when it is ready. Our address is 1345 Birmingham Hwy. in Lookout Valley. Please call us or let us know when we call the day and time you plan to pick up so someone can meet you. If you live in the Chattanooga area, we also offer delivery.
